Wow, it's been a while!!!

Well, it's been since June since you've last heard from us... I know, I know...BAD MOMMY for not updating Mr. Carter's blog!
First, let me start by saying.... "WOW! I can't believe how much my sweet tiny baby boy has grown!" He is such a big boy now...after all, as of Monday, he IS 17 months old now! Can you believe it? Where has the time flown off too?
I know that most of the readers only care about seeing all of our pictures...because I do have a ton...but just a few updates:
Carter talks all the time! He loves naming off several of his family members...We are named pretty funny things right now... I am "Momma", Graham is "Deddy", He calls his Mazzie "Mommy", And he actually gets Poppie, Nana, and Papa right! He calls Uncle Chad (Unkie), but Carter pronounces it is Dah-Di. His Aunt Jessie is something to the extent of "Jetschi". Carter has a HUGE vocabulary! HUUUUGE! He makes all sorts of funny animal sounds, and most recently learned to spit...WONDERFUL! haha! We are a little behind in the tooth category…still only 5 and one of those just popped through about 2 weeks ago! He still stays with his Poppie everyday and has so much fun there! We constantly stay on the go…Every weekend is full of fun things to do…Fall being our favorite because of all the festivals!!! He is definitely 100 miles per hour when awake…no, let’s make that 150… He’s wild as a buck! What a blessing he has been to our family! I thank GOD for such a perfect little booger everyday…was I actually alive before Carter came along, because life is so much better with him in our lives!!! He’s simply the best!!!....

Now, on to the fun stuff! Of course, since I’ve missed so many months, I can’t include all of the pictures…there are just too many… But, here are several of my favorites!!! Love to all!!!!!

Now for the fun part!!!!


Carter's favorite thing in the world to do is go to Unkie's a play the drums... He looks like a natural!!!

Over the summer, we made SEVERAL trips out to Berry College to look around at the deer and spend some fun time outside! Carter even got to drive on one of our ventures!!! (Don't worry, we were on the gravel trail that takes you to Possom Trot...nothing dangerous!!!)

We even were able to pet the horses out at the stables...he LOVED the horses!!!

Later that day, we went to the lake...Carter loves to ride in the basket on the back of the golf cart! Here, he and Mazzie are waiting on Poppie to take them for a ride!


Our first haircut came a few months back! He was a angel the whole way through! I was so proud!

Fall time has arrived!!! We're so excited! Myself and Mazzie took Carter to the apple festival in Ellijay a few weeks back! We had so much fun, but it was so cold. I thought this pic was beautiful of him! Can you believe how big?!?!?!

He loved the pumpkins at the pumpkin patch... He calls them "Pictuns"... SO CUTE!

They even let him ride the wagon with our pumpkins that they were taking to the car for us! Didn't we get some neat ones!!! Carter even had a few little ones of his own!

This is our most recent picture! Unkie killed a huge 9 point buck last week right at dark. When he went to Mazzie and Poppies to show them, we were there too! When we heard the news, we threw Cart in the car and went to see... Carter loved the deer! He was in his Jammies!!! So cute!

Happy birthday to me by the way... Today is my 26th!!! But, I didn't get a good bday gift from Carter... We just got back from the doctor... He has strep throat, and really doesn't feel well! Please keep him in your prayers for a speedy recovery! Love to all!

What a fun weekend!!!

What a GREAT fun weekend we had!!! It's will filled with lots of exciting things to do! On friday night, we headed to State Mutual Stadium (home of the Rome Braves) to watch a special friend play baseball-Charlie Culberson!- Charlie plays for the Augusta Greenjackets. They were in town playing the Braves and we were so excited about FINALLY getting to watch Charlie play. The last time that I was able to watch him was a couple of years ago when he was still in highschool. The baseball game was Carter's first game! He has SUCH a fun time watching the crowd and climbing on the railing...supervised, of corse! haha!

After such a fun Friday evening, we woke up Saturday with a family day planned. We had planned to stay at home all day and clean up the house while spending some QT together. Things don't always go as planned right??? We called Mom, Dad, and Chad and got them to meet us at Chic-fil-a for breakfast. Afterwards, we headed to Toys R Us to buy some formula and other neccessities, and since it is out toward Chad's house, we went for a visit. Mom and Dad were also there. We all pulled up chairs under the shade tree and sat and talked for about two hours. It was SO MUCH FUN and SUPER relaxing! The Ice Cream truck passed while we were sitting outside, so of corse, being the kid that I am, I ran them down and we all got Icee's and Ice Cream Cones! Later we headed home to go "swim" in Carters new pool...a birthday gift from The Canada's (THANKS!!!). We spent a while in the pool and playing outside, then the rest of the evening we just "chilled" at home. It was a great relaxing day!

On Sunday, we had even more fun planned! We went to Charlie and "Bubba" Youngblood's house to go swimming. They are Chuck and Corley's parents (and in-laws). Chuck and Corley announced that they are going to have a baby and we are SOOOO excited for them. Carter can't wait for his new friend to be here either!

So, this past weekend was fun, and boy do we ever have a fun one planned for the coming weekend. WE ARE GOING TO TENNESSEE! Our cousin, Steve, is getting married to Jamie and we are having a shower! I am so excited to get to go see all of my family... It's been since Christmas and I miss all of them so much! There will be lots of pictures to share because Carter has not seen his baby cousins, Eliza Grace and Kate, since Christmas....AND THERE IS A NEW ONE TO MEET TOO! Her name is Dalyn and she is just a week old! We can't wait to see her! We look forward to seeing all of our other family too... Allie, Josie, Alyssa, Blake, and all their mommies and daddies and grandparents, etc. etc. etc.... Hopefully Brody and Coltyn will be in town too! If not, maybe we can make a trip to their house soon!

Lately...

Well, Lately I haven't been able to post on the blog. My hard drive crashed so I lost everything... Pictures, programs, files, etc. YOU NAME IT!

Anyway, life in the Nash house has been pretty exciting. Below are three post that show some of the fun we've experienced.

Carter is now one....and guess what????? HE WALKS!!! He actually took his first step at the beach and now, a week later, hes pretty much on the go...TO EVERYWHERE! And the funny thing (literally) is that he laughs the whole time he is walking! It's so cute, but hilarious!

Another exiting moment, ALSO at the beach, CARTER'S FIRST TOOTH FINALLY BROKE THROUGH!!!! We were beginning to wonder if he would ever get one, and low and behold...it's here!

So, we've had lots of exciting moments lately, and I'm sorry for the late updates...but, now I've got things up and running again, so I can post all new stuff as it happens now!

Happy First Birthday Baby Boy!!!!

Howdy Partners! Can you believe it? Our little baby boy has turned a year old! If you'll remember, he was born last year on Memorial Day! This year his birthday was on Tuesday (May 26th, 2009) We celebrated by inviting several friends to a Cowboy/Cowgirl birthday party that we had on Sunday, May 24th! We had so much fun playing with our friends and eating Pizza, Cake, and Icecream!!!

Gulf Shores, 2009

So, from May 16th-23rd, Graham, Carter, myself, Mazzie, and Poppie all went to the beach! We visited Gulf Shores, AL and had a blast! We were so blessed to have beautiful weather while we enjoyed the company of one another! Wonderful memories were made and the trip will definitely be an unforgettable one!

So, before you go to the next pics, a story goes along with them! On our last day, Daddy found a HUGE shell bed of perfect shells and they were so big. We walked down (myself in my PJ's) to see what all we could find... WE HIT THE JACKPOT!!!!
